Almonds rich in fiber, calcium and potassium  are among the dried fruit and  the seeds  more nutrients and benefits found in nature, as they contain:

  • proteins ;
  • vitamins  in particular the  vitamin E ;
  • minerals such as calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, zinc, copper, manganese and iron;
  • compounds responsible for the  antioxidant properties , that is the ability to defend our body from the action of free radicals thus preventing phenomena of  aging  cellular and ensuring the maintenance of physical well-being;
  • fats, mainly the "good" ones, ie mono-unsaturated fatty acids. 

 

To fully enjoy the properties of almonds, it is advisable to take about  20-30 grams  (15 almonds).

In addition to using them as an ingredient for your desserts,  it's possible  consume them as a snack  mid-morning, to stop hunger, or in the afternoon, as a snack. Almonds can be too  grate  finely as a garnish for many dishes, both savory and sweet.
